Preliminary step:

Creation of a secure Ypsée online account

This preliminary step is necessary and non-committing for you.
The creation of your secure Ypsée online account guarantees the confidentiality of your personal information, like the photos, the medical form…by an encrypted system on a highly secured server.

Once your account has been activated, you can access it with your private login and password. You can now have access to our two separate services, independent one from the other: the « Ypsée Passport Services » and the « Morphing ».

Step 1: Subscribe to Ypsée Passport Service

The payment of the €65 fee is a one-time fee that you will pay upon departure. Ypsée uses Paypal as an online mean of payment to transfer money, which guarantees you a completed secure transaction. Your payment can be done by credit card or via a Paypal account.

Step 2: Your concerns taken care of by surgeons

Ypsée is the only website that allows you to submit your requests at once, whatever the surgery type (cosmetic or dental), and directly to the partner surgeons that you will have selected.

For that end, first choose the type of surgery needed, select one or more surgeons, fill our online medical form (you can ask your general practitioner for help), submit your pictures and write your requests/motivations/expectations.

A few recommendations on the right pictures to enclose with your medical form:

·Plastic surgery

Take 3 to 4 digital color photos of the areas to be operated.

For the body (full-frontal photos, rear view, left and right profiles)

For the face (full-frontal photos, left and right profiles)

·Dental surgery

Take photos as shown below:

A panoramic radiography is required for the quote.

To enclose the Panorex on your secure online account, you have two options:

-Do a scanner of your radio

-Ask to have it made in the digital format by your radiology center.

You can enclose any element that you consider useful in order to provide information to the surgeon on the results you want to get:

-opinion from a consultation you did in your home country (treatment plan of your dentist, opinion of another plastic surgeon)

-magazine picture (often used to show the breast shape wanted)
-results of your morphing

be advised that these elements are not contractual, and do not commit the surgeons on your surgery results, but help them better understand your wishes.

Surgeon(s) answers:

You will receive an email within 7 days at the most, inviting you to check out the surgeon answer(s) in your secure Ypsée online account.

The answers will comprise the following elements:

For plastic surgery

Agreement in Principle or Refusal (in that case, there will be an explanation)

If Agreement in Principle:
-length of stay in the clinic (number of nights)
-required convalescence stay at the hotel (number of nights)
-breakdown of the operation cost

An information brochure issued by the French Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (SOFCPRE) detailing all the risks linked to your surgery will be given to you.

·
Dental surgery:

-The treatment plan (techniques and material considered for the job)
-Necessary time for the job completion (number of trips and number of nights)
-Breakdown of the operation cost

Step 3: Direct contact with the surgeons

After you receive your answers, an interview via videoconference or by phone will be organized with the plastic surgeon(s) you have chosen.

Please notify on your secure online account the best time to reach you.

During this meeting, the surgeon will tell you what preliminary tests you need to take in your home country depending on the surgery type. (in most cases: blood test, mammography, echographia...). These tests will have to be given to him if needed before departure.

If this first contact was satisfactory on both sides (the choice to be operated belongs to you, as well as the choice to do the surgery or not depends also on the surgeon), the surgeon will forward you a ?consent form?. This document will have to be dated and signed by you, 15 days prior to the scheduled surgery date.

The surgery date will be scheduled depending on your availability and the surgeon’s. Then you can start to plan your trip.

Step4: Trip planning and assistance in your departure

Ypsee is not a travel agency, let alone a ?tour operator?, which means we do not have the right to make any bookings on your behalf.

Visit the websites of the hotels recommended by Ypsée. These hotels are close to the clinics and are used to welcoming convalescent patients. In any case, you must make the reservation by yourself.

If you face any problems at this stage, feel free to ask your customer representative at Ypsee for support.

the confirmation of your surgery date will be given to you as soon as we receive a copy of your flight booking.

DURING YOUR STAY PHASE

Step 5 : Welcome at the airport

Your welcome is taken care of by the customer representative in the destination country, he/she will drive you directly to the clinic or the hotel depending on the hour of your arrival.

The customer representative will stay in contact with you at all times throughout your stay.

Step 6 : Preoperative Consultation

It takes place the day prior to your surgery. Your surgeon will:

- address your latest concerns
- check again with you the expected results
- do a preoperative exam (also done by the anesthesist)
- get your consent form

Step 7: the payment

When the consultation is over, if all the conditions are met by you and for the surgeon and the anesthesist, you will have to proceed with your payment.

The means of payment accepted:

- cash in euros
- international VISA credit cards (not recommended because of the bank commission rates or in case of a technical problem)
- certified bank check

Step 8 : Surgery and postoperative check-up

To see how the surgery is done, go to The surgery

Step 9 : Postoperative care int he country of surgery

- During your stay at the clinic

It is obviously taken care of by the surgeon and the medical staff who monitor to ensure there are no complications.

- During your stay at the hotel

The replacement of wound-dressings will be assured by nurses who meet with you at your hotel. The check-up visits with the surgeon are organized with your local customer represent

Upon approval by your surgeon, you will be able to add an optional recovery package, that comprises massage therapy (example: lymphatic drainage for liposuctions), thalassatherapy or balneotherapy.

These last two are recommended in particular cases to get rid of the postoperative pain and accelerate your convalescence.

Step 10: sightseeing

Visit the link The Trips of our website to discover the beauty of Budapest, Tunis and Rabat. Your local customer representative will help you in booking services à la carte (restaurants, visits at the Museum, excursions...)

RETURN IN YOUR HOMECOUNTRY

Step 11: Follow up care

During the first week following your return home, your surgeon will keep in touch with you if needed by phone, mail or webcam. The feedback report of your surgery will have to be transmitted to your general practitioner; your surgeon will then be able to work in partnership with him to ensure everything is going on fine. After three months, a check-up will verify if the first results are satisfying or if it is still necessary to wait. You will need to take pictures of the operated area and submit them to your surgeon, through your secure online account. To know what happens if a complication arises; see the Guarantees on the website.
